Laura L. Grove, MSIS
Bio
Originally from Houston, Texas, Laura has always possessed a deep love and appreciation for history. As she pursued her undergraduate degree, she was introduced to the archival field. She knew it was a perfect fit as it incapsulated two of her favorite things, engaging with history and serving others by making history accessible.
Education
Laura completed her bachelors degree in American History and Corporate Strategy, cum laude, at Vanderbilt University in 2018. After completing a service year through AmeriCorps, Laura attended the University of Texas at Austin, earning her Master of Science in Information Studies in 2020.
Employment
An early career archivist, Laura is currently working for the Dominican Sisters of Houston, a Catholic religious group. As their first full-time archivist, Laura has spent her time creating and maintaining the archival program.
